Getting to Auckland

Flying into Auckland Airport? Auckland CBD is a 30 min drive (via uber or a private car) from the Airport. Otherwise you can catch the SkyDrive bus which will drop you off at SkyCity. There's also public transport from the Airport to the CBD, catch the 'AirportLink' between Auckland Airport, Puhinui Station. And from Puhinui Station catch the Eastern or Southern Line to Britomart Startion. Make sure that you grab an AT HOP card at the Airport (public transport in Auckland only accecpts the AT HOP card as a valid fare).

Catching a Bus to Auckland? There's a number of inter-city bus services from cities all over the North Island that travel to Auckland operated by Intercity which drop passengers off at SkyCity.

Driving to Auckland? Simply plug Auckland into your Maps, and you should be fine!

Getting around Auckland

Auckland has a number of Public Transport to get yourself around town. From Buses, Ferries and Trains, it's cheaper and easier than you think!

Please note: No cash is accepted on any public transport, you will need to use an AT HOP card. HOP Cards can be found at many shops in the central city, check out the AT website here to see where you can purchase an AT HOP card if you do not already own one. Auckland is looking to role out credit card payment on Public Transport, but as of writing this, they haven't rolled it out.

Need to catch a taxi or rideshare? Rideshare services such as Uber, Zoomy and Ola exist in Auckland. Or if you're looking for an old school Taxi Service, Blue Bubble Taxis are the largest Taxi group in Auckland.
